Happy Friday the 13th!!!
You know, some consider this the most unlucky day of the year but do you know why? Check here. It is a very good artical on the subject on my favorite urban legends site, www.snopes.com. As far as I'm concerned though Friday the 13th has been good to me. When my dad was stationed up in Omaha Nebraska when I was 9 he got his orders to move back down here on a Friday the 13th. Also I usually do better when I go to the casino's on Friday the 13th and the weather is usually perfect. :)

Ok, for those who don't know me, I am a proud Southern woman. I'm not a redneck, hillbillie, racist, member of the KKK, or stupid. People have asked me "So do you think the South shall rise again?" My answer is no, we never fell. We never fought a Civil War, we fought the War of Northern Agression. A lot of people have the misconception that the so called Civil War was all about slavery, not true. The Southern States wished to seperatre from the North for mainly financial reasons. See, all the factories were in the North and the raw materials were produced in the South. the North put restrictions on the trade though, we were not permitted to sell the raw materials to anyone but them at far below fair market value. When it was said that we needed to release slaves we said ok, pay us enough for our products that we can hire people. So you say "What about the Emancipation Proclamation?" Read it carefully, it only offered freedom to the slaves in the rebelling states in hopes they would join the Union Army. If you look closely at history you will find that Lincoln was a racist, he did not want non-whites in this country, even as slaves. They don't teach you that in school of course but reseach it yourself.

Ok, now maybe I should say this now, I do not hate the North, I have a lot of family up there. I do not hate Lincoln, he did what he thought was right. I do not hate America, I'm as proud of being an American as I am of being a Southerner. I do hate our Goverment right now and I am embarased of them, simply because they are ruining the country I love and sending our military men and women into harms way needlessly, that is another topic though. :)

"Mommy, why are they hurting the Easter Bunny?"
Ok, this is kinda old news but I just found it today. It seems this past Easter a church in Glassport, PA as part of their easter program whipped the Easter Bunny! Appearently it was to show the true meaning of Easter. Hmmmm, how wholesome. I'm sure there are going to be some shrink bills from that one. I mean, imagine seeing something like that as a child, that would be right up there with seeing Santa Claus naked. To me this ranks up there with those mock witch burnings at Halloween that were so popular a few years back until the Pagan community raised a fit about it. Things like this are just wrong and I don't need some celestial Big Brother to tell me this. Come on, if you have to make kids cry to promote your beliefs there is a major flaw there. Oh, the artical can be found here. Sorry but this is just serriously fucked.

First Entry
Ok, I'm going to try this again. I'm not gonna promise to be on every day. I'm not going to promise to post often. If you know me you know I tend to get sidetracked a lot. If you don't know me maybe I should tell you I get side tracked a lot. I have tons of half finished graphics, emails I've been meaning to answer, page ideas that are still just notes in text files, the only things I do keep up on is Neopets and watching Big Brother 5. :) Anyway, you have now been warned.
